Hey guys! Marie name is Marie Joelle Sheldon - aka MandalaHoop. I moved around from Chicago, South Jersey, to Philly before I made my last move to Denver, CO in 2017. I love living in Denver! The flow arts community is amazing and it’s awesome being local and close by to the JAMhoops storefront!

I was gifted my first hoop at Electric Forest in 2013 and fell in love with everything flow arts related. It was finally something I felt brought happiness to my mind, body, and soul all at the same time. I was quickly immersed in the flow arts scene in Philadelphia, but my performance carrier really took off after making the move to Denver. 

I am now the Director for Kinetic Spinners West Division - a multi-faceted and uniquely diverse performance troupe specializing in led and fire entertainment/dance. Kinetic Spinners has been hired to perform at multiple events including Sonic Bloom Music Festival, nightclubs/music venues, art walks, corporate events, local parades, private events, and completed a whole Halloween season with 13th Floor Haunted House providing fire entertainment. 

I started with hooping, but fire has become one of my personal specialties. I fire hoop, spin double fire hoops, fire fans, palm torches, and hallow eating torches. 

On top of keeping busy with my troupe, I am always taking new dance and flow classes, constantly pushing myself to grow as an artist. I am super grateful to be a part of the JAMhoops family. There is truly no other hoop shop I would want to support - the hoops are beautiful, connections are flawless, custom made tubing colors, and the owner Maggie is amazing! 

I hope to continue to connect with fellow flow artists within this ever-growing community!
